I guess we all started somewhere along the line in the Primavera Planning world. Because planning is not really a subject "in the early days" and take me for example I am not an engineer, I dont even have any training when I started. All these depends on your personanity and fade.
With the demand so high for planner, I guess if you will have better luck and you might able to find something. However, you wont be just an software operator, you will need to go down to site, learn the sequency of work, level of effort, critical path... because I would not hire someone come as a computer operator. I expect a bit more, so be prepare.
