If you want P3 Report in PDF Format, first set the PDF Printer (Any type... either Cute PDF or PDF995) as default printer. Then make page setup in which paper size you want to convert (A4/A3/B0/B1). Then go back to P3 Main window. Then click print button directly (not from the file menu ==> print==> choose pdf printer) from the main window.
In this way, you won't get any freeze while printing in P3..
Thanks.

Are you using P3 3.1, if so i have had this problem as well, try solution 2001122118299 on the Primavera knowledge base
Here’s the solution if you dont have access to the knowledgebase
1. Create a new folder on a Local Drive that has no spaces or symbols, has 8 characters or less, and is no more than 5 levels deep. For example, C:\PDFPort.
2. Go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes. Right-click on the icon for Acrobat Distiller and select Properties.
3. Select the Ports tab, then click the Add Port... button.
4. Select PDF Port and click on the New Port... button.
5. Select the new folder you created and click OK. Click X to close Printer Ports dialog.
6. Make sure the new PDFPort is selected
7. Click on the Advanced tab. Select "Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster" and "Start printing after last page is spooled" options.
8. Click Apply then click Close. You should be able to successfully create a PDF file using Distiller next time you launch P3.
Hope this helps

Hi Guys,
Problem solved.
For Hannes, it doesnt matter whether you use 1200 or 144 dpi. It all works.
For Ronald, Service Pack 3 partially solved the pdf printing problem, particularly the long directory name or filename.
For Scott, if you have service pack 3 installed, you could just do step 7, "Printing start after last page is spooled".
Thanks Mates!
Cheers!

... Also make sure that you have installed Service Pack 3 with P3 Version 3.1. It cures many PDF problems. Good luck!
