The intension of the software is to calculate the dates for you. When an activity is added the dates will be calculated for you by entering a start date of the project and then adding relationships amongst the activities. You may apply constraints to activities to prevent the tasks before or after dates.
I suggest you read up on the basics of Critical Path planning as a start to understand the basics of software such as SureTrak and then read the manual or a book obtain some training in the software.
