When ‘funny’ file-handling errors occur in P3, Primavera always recommends that you first run their File Fix utility on your schedule files to verify the database is not corrupt and to fix it if it is. To do this, locate the program file,
C:\P3WIN\P3PROGS\PFXW.EXE
and run it. Select your bad schedule, check all of the ‘fix’ options in the bottom left corner of the screen and run. More complete information is available through the Help button once you start PFXW. Good luck!

The best solution against all P3-errors for me is the Tools->Project Utilities->Copy Function. This function seems to set some internal atributes back to standard again, which is mostly a great help.

Ive had this message before when I was working on a P3 "file" located on the network and I had lost the connection, even temporarily. when this happens just closing the file and re-opening it would solve the pb

Renaud Moisan,
Thank you for the suggestion, I tried this option but did not work, I even shut down my system and re-started my computer but still get thesame error.
The file is not on network its located on my hard drive C.
I would be glad to get further assistance from you.
Thank you.
