Hi this is simple, create a code cale TEMP with a length of 10, and export this to a dbf file, then insert the new IDs in this field and import. Thereafter do a global change

Be extremely careful when changing activity ids!
Using Global change, from memory, the syntax is something like
actid="A"&actid (to insert an "A" as a prefix)
You may need to run the trim function as well.
If you can be more descriptive of your problem, perhaps better advice can be given.
