Jose,

Have you install any Service Pack for P3?

For win2k, install SP3

For winXP, install SP2.

Hi Mary Jo,

I would recommend the Primopdf, print driver, it is very easy to use and does not give problems, like distiller & writer.

Hello Mary Jo,

Why not try primo pdf. It is a free download in the internet.

Go to goggle then type primopdf, yo!!!

follow the standard instruction in downloading files in the internet.

follow the advice of our colleagues, review the previous thread regarding pdf.

If the output is not what you want, then, come back to PP.

cheers,

Hello Mary Jo

I had the same problem in the past.

I was using P3 and later P3.1.

Operating systems were Windows 2000 and later XP.

I followed exactly what is recommended in Primavera site - Primavera.com (follow the links). Along the way I had to reinstalll the Acrobat writer 5.0.

Then it worked 100 % OK from every menu in Primavera (Print pre view, etc).

If not able to locate the instruction at primavera site let me know. I will search my downloads and try to find it for you.

Right now I’m using acrobat writer 6.0 and the reader 7.0 without any trouble

Hello,

Tip1:

Please update distiller to at least version 7.

the PDF printer driver is better.

you may have some good luck with some freeware pdf printer drivers too.

Tip2:

also dont print from the preview screen as it usually hangs.

print from the main screen but remember to set the default printer right for that session.

I found that out by trial and error. I have tried all of possible ways a print can be made in P3 (it kept acting everytime a printout was needed in a hurry). the least problematic is from the main screen.

I hope this helps.

Gün. :)

Hi, Mary.

Your case is same as mine. I don’t know if it’s a bug on P3 or Acrobat. Have you noticed also that some lines, texts or bars are missing when converting P3 to PDF. By the way, I’m using Acrobat 6.0 Professional here.

Regards.
