P3C files are the backups P3 used to make before they bought SureTrak and incorporated their PRX format. You will need a DOS version of P3 to restore these. I looked on the web and found a company named "Essential Data Recovery" at http://www.essentialrecovery.com/filelist.html who claim that they can perform this feat. Good luck!

current Primavera P3’s compressed backup files have the PRX extension

according to "filext.com/file-extension", P3C extension is either IBM Voice or Primavera P3; in my opinion this reference to P3 means "P3 for MS-DOS"

I left P3 Windows a couple of years ago to work with P3E and MSP. I know that the issue has been solved but I have no recollection what the solution was. I’m sorry I can’t help you any further.

There are 2 possibilities:

- The project may in previous Btrieve version

- One of the file in that compressed pack is missing or corrupted

I don’t get any error messages. When I start the resore option, I can’t find the compressed plans. From checking the windows explorer I know that they are there!
