Thanks for your reply but I found in the user manual on the primavera site that I need to have a Suretrack type project. I did a save-as with the new project type of 'Suretrack', reopened it and the + button was there. Just confirming that a project type of project groups or concentric does not allow the creation of calendars.

i think u need to re install. to mis a button, means ur software installation is not completed.
during installation, see if any error messages about missing dll, ocx, ... any system files.
wishing it was of some help.
