I do nt really understand where your probllem stands; the easiest way to print selected columns in MS Project is to create a specific table and associate it to the gannt chart you want to print:
a) go to the View tab and click Tables, More tables, the copy the active table (Entry?) and edit it to remove the columns yu do not want to print and add the columns you want to print; be careful to let the 1st column on the left to "Task Id" anf Fixed
b) click View, More Views, copy the current view, edit and change the current table to the new one
c) Print the new view

Just an attempt to refresh this post. I'm back to using MS Project a little bit and this is so frustrating...
Is there really no way to save print settings?
