Microsoft Project 2010 Milestones

Yvonne,

A couple of initial remarks: 1) A milestone can only be 0% complete or 100% complete. Nothing in between. Milestone is defined as its duration and work being zero, so saying a milestone is 60% complete would just give the result 60% times zero which is still zero.

2) Secondly, you can't have uncompleted activities/milestones in the past, however, many people still prefer to see the progress (zig-zag) line, so let's forget about that for a while.

To answer your question you could make a formula for a flag field asking that if "Baseline Finish" is less than "Status Date" and "Actual Finish" equals "NA" then the flag field would turn "Yes" or something similar. Then make a red bar style incorporating that flag field. All bars for uncompleted activities that should have been completed according to the baseline will now automatically turn red.

Hi.

In your case your program is not updated and scheduled on milestone date, you need to update the activities on which this milestone was dependent on and after that when you will reschdule the program then the milestone will become 100%.
