Jon,

OK, I’m with you now. Setting the baseline is straightforward enough Tools > Tracking > Save Baseline. Check the ‘Save Baseline’ and ‘Entire Project’ radio buttons and click OK.

Displaying Planned % Complete is a little more difficult and requires some customisation.

Check out the thread below that Niek Zonneveld started, it should give you the solution you need.

the dark side lol,,

in P3 you can basically create an entire copy of your project i.e baseline the schedule the display the activity bars for every activity below the ’live’ activity bars,, that way you can see easily what has slipped and what is ahead of schedule,, you can also show Planned Percentage (of the baseline) against the actual percentage

many thanks

Hi Jon,

Welcome to the dark side. :o)

I use MS Project but haven’t used Primavera, so if you could expand a little on what you mean by targets, then I may (or may not) be able to help.

Regards,

Darren
