You must remember to save to mpx. A further problem, is that MSP does not have code structures, so you have to go through the excercise of putting in the headings, or indents, or whaever they call it, It is a painful excersize, but at the end of the day if that is what they want, deliver. Give me a shout if you are struggling

Jose,
Consider just exprt the necessery information from P3 into DBF. Then import it into MSP.
The painful process is activity ID re-numbering, not the others.
Also consider import that MPX into MSP 95 version and then save it into MPP for MSP2002

Thanks Alexandre
The export facility to MPX is the one built inside the P3 it self. I have no control on the field that P3 exports.
THe version of MS Project is 2002, and I tryed to use the standard open file choosing type MPX. Also no control about the way MS project imports.

Hello,
What version of MSP are you using?
Is it in the same language as P3?
How long is your P3 project, how many tasks? Did you export the time and hour for the date fields?
MS Project is not smart in using MPX files, and do not understand everything P3 or any other planning software which is able to export to MPX files.
All the best
