Thanks Trevor,

The contradictory critical path of the as built is essentially what I was looking for.

Thank you Abbas,

That is a good way to visually demonstrate.

Daniel, the answer is "no" and the reason is the definition of "critical". The entire concept of the critical path method is only applicable to tasks which are planned/scheduled in the future. Once a task has an actual start date and an actual finish date, which of course must be in the past, then it's earliest and latest start and finish dates no longer exist, or rather, they must be the same as actual start date and actual finish date. I suspect that you are trying to find something called an "as built critical path", which is just a contradiction in terms. Any help?

Hi Daniel,

An actual activity cannot be critical by definition. However, there are different ways to "Show" something critical.

If by showing you mean color "Red" follow these steps:

- Make a user-defined code and select the activities which you like to show as critical.

- On the Bar format table, Find the "Actual" Bar format, change your filter and make sure the coded activities are not included.

- on the Bar format table, add a new one, use your code to filter the activities which you need to shown as critical and format them as"Red".

I hope it helps.
