Are you sure that you have set the calendar to 7 working days?
Also check that the calendar on your resource allocation is the same - it will over ride the plan calendar.
For instance if you have a gang of 3 carpenters - catholic - jewish and muslim - each with their own calendar you will only get 4 days work in the eek.
