I think a further explanation of virtual permanent resource might be needed! 

I take it you mean just a modelled res with a cost equal to the amount of say concrete, so that we can track the amount and the occurance of it appearing in the overtime slot? 

This had crossed my mind as well, though I was hoping for a more elegant solution!

Its about time that Asta sorted out there consumable resources anyway! You cant even get a histogram/line graph of quantity required over time, other than with a cost of £1.

Let me know if Im off down a wrong lead on the above?

Hi Ade

Have you considered using virtual permanent resources to shadow the consumable ones?

They can then be resource modelled to drive the task durations.
