Principal Project Planner – Leading planning and project control functions for signaling and electrification portfolio of projects for Wessex, Sussex & Kent route.
Providing guidance and direction to other planners, and ensuring quality and consistency of all planning and project control associated reporting. Prepare progress reports for monthly business review. Review and confirm that all involved parties are aware of their respective accountabilities and responsibilities and provide support and guidance to all the key stakeholders, as appropriate, in line with the production and management of the quality project delivery schedules. Ensuring change control process is being implemented effectively to monitor the business critical changes within the portfolio. Review schedule logic and provide guidance and assistance in estimating quantities, activity durations and resource management within P3e. Liaise with all supporting functions to gather required schedule information’s. Identify key performance indicators within the project and report the progress. Currently leading a team of planners providing necessary planning support to the project delivery teams on a number of projects within the portfolio.
