Responsible for the Planning Department in a Balanced-Matrix organization, providing comprehensive Project Management Solutions from Tender Stage to the formal Closing-out of the projects and reporting to the General Manager & the CEO. Also worked as Planning & Control Engineer / MRQ (Management Representative for Quality) from Apr-01 to Oct-02 before taking charge of the Department in Oct-02

•     Preparation, Implementation & Modification of Project Management Information System (PMIS) & Project Control Procedures
•     Induction Training for the project team pertaining to Project Control Systems.
•     Formulation of Overall Project Plans / Technical Proposals.
•     Schedule Development & Control to ensure proper Scope/ Integration/ Time Management of the projects in Coordination with Consultant / Client & Sub-Contractors at all levels. This included Baseline Programmes (Up to required levels) followed by Updates / Look Ahead / Accelerated / Recovery Programmes and liaison with the Clients / Consultants for the approval of the same.
•     Progress Monitoring, Updating Schedules, Computing Variance and suggesting remedial actions.
•     Scope Change Control: Preparation of Revised Programmes incorporating Variations in the Scope of Work and liaison with the Clients / Consultants for the approval of the same.
•     Assisting Estimation Department for the preparation / revision of Budgets.
•     Procurement Planning & following up with Procurement Department to keep Procurement process inline with the work flow.
•     Enterprise Resource Planning and generating / updating Project-wise / Craft-wise Resource Histograms.
•     Tabulating Submittals’ Logs for Materials / Drawings / Sub-Contractors / Long Lead Items and Tracking status of Submittals and Approvals for the same.
•     Preparation of Projects’ Status Reports including Progress S-Curves, Invoicing Curves, Cash Flows.
•     Monitoring project execution and evaluating Performance using EVMS (Earned Value Management System).
•     Identification / Analysis / Preparation of Variation / EOT (Extension of Time) Claims.
•     Convening Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal) & recording / issuing Minutes of Meeting.
•     Preparation, Implementation & Modification of Quality System Procedures (ISO), and conducting Quality Audits & Induction Training for Quality Management System.
