1989-1995 Employed by GEC Marconi S3I (Simulation & Training) as the programme controller for the Support Operations Division.

1987-89 Senior Commercial Officer responsible to the commercial director for all aspects of the military divisions business.

1982-1987 Project Controller, Marconi Test Systems (GEC Avionics)
Responsible for the administration of the underwater weapons division.

1980-82 Programme controller responsible for all programme and financial issues related to a multi million pound project for design, development and manufacture of test equipment for a major underwater weapons programme for the UK MoD. Also involved in market research and product development in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industries.

1975-80 Assistant spares controller, responsible for the scaling, ranging and procurement of spares for all the products manufactured by the company. Deputized for the department manager.
