A vast number of companies, especially recruitment companies, claim they are ‘people businesses’. So why do so many wrap up their offering in jargon where employees are ‘assets’, candidates are ‘talent’ and a set of interviews is a ‘recruitment solution’? No, we don’t know either. (Although we suspect it’s because if you strip away the jargon, a lot of firms don’t really have that much to offer beyond their database and a lacklustre trawl through online jobs boards.) Lorien Resourcing is different. We strive to do more than just recruit people. And we have always been about more than just putting “bums on seats”. But for us, the true motivation goes deeper... Our ambition is to be a long term trusted partner with each of our clients and each of our candidates. That means getting to know people; their personal needs and ambitions, their business goals and career objectives. Our aim is pretty simple. It can be summed up as “the right person in the right job at the right company”. That’s good for everyone we work with and for us too.
