Responsible for the supervision, execution, quality and content of the planning, scheduling, analysis, trending, reporting and control in accordance with the contractual project specification for various projects within the company.
• Lead planner on multi-million refurbishment project in Woodman Point, Perth, Australia.
• Responsible for the 5 major EPCM projects that make up the Woodman Point contract.
• Liaising between the project Joint Venture Management and the client to establish and understand the project objectives.
• Development and maintenance of the master programmes for projects using Primavera (P6) and ensuring that the sub-programmes are consistent in structure and timeframe.
• Determining the critical path and float for the project and creating priority lists for Design and Procurement.
• Monitor and report progress and provide weekly updated schedules, including resource histograms, earned value progress curves and current versus baseline comparisons.
• Developed full Field Progress Measurement System and KPI’s to accurately track project movement.
• Review resource availability to support plans and take action to address resource shortfalls and risks to delivery.
• Ensure that the project’s planning and scheduling requirements are properly and clearly communicated to those functionally responsible for executing the work.
• Generating Procurement Status Reports and inputting these into Business Connect to monitor and control all aspects of Procurement.
• Incorporating scope changes and trends into the project schedules and reset the baseline to reflect this in the current project scope.
• Completion of monthly reporting and preparation of documentation required for Formal Management Meeting to tight time lines and changing requirements to reflect the requirements of the programme.
