Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

How to use company’s electronic mail (E-mail) system to send P3 data to other mail users, whether or not
they have P3, to collect update information.

Hi

Have look into the Reference Manual Pages 396 and following.

No need, that the recipient has P3, just PRMMAIL.EXE has to be installed - no licence required as far as I know.
Maybe your admin has to modify the P3.ini.
MAPI.DLL must be installed, i.e. your mail system must be prepared for MAPI - ask your IT.
The updated file can be received by File --> Receive Mail.

You can do it in many ways:
1.) You can convert your p3. file to PDF file using cute.pdf and attached it to your email.
2.) You can export the data to an excel or database file and attached it to your email
3.) You can send it directly by clicking "file" and then click "send to" this will create an email with the P3 file with an extension PRX and this can be extracted by the receipient but He or She must have a P3 software for him to open the file.

Cheers,
Daniel
