Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Actual earned quantity!! Not match with real situation!

Hi,
Iam facing a problem. In my program i loaded concrete qty with resurce lag (exp. activity concrteing of slab of 23 days duration 22 days lag and last 1 day conc)while loading buget qty.

When i compare with planned curve and actual curve form p3. Actual shows inaccurate figure ( Exp. i strted activity 30 days back due to some problem it got delayed but we finished 40 % for concrete - keep in mind not concrete just form and steel we need another 5 days to complete) but whn you take resource laoding from updated schedule it give 40 % value, if fact concrete with do after 5 days only what to do.

Check your autocost rule as well

BTW as .mktse suggested, seperate your activity and resources that will help to untangle the mess

Instead of resource lag, please consider the resource curve. I create one for concrete - 0% to whole period except the last one. So the curve is "flat" except the last day.

So no actual quantity until the concrete day and same day for the Actual Finish of this activity.
