Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

We got a new project and the client ask to prepare progress report and claim base on the manhours.

I think is not right cause the contract to them is lump sum re-measurement. I have proposed to them the progress report and claim base from installed qty, but they don't agree they still ask to submit manhours. any advise

Regards

Why would you use the client's estimate of manhours instead of your own?

Hi Mike,

If I make manhour as per the quantity I end up supplying a lot of workers.

Cause the client estimated Manhour for every quantity is over allocate?

Do you have construction activities man-hours?

Regard

Ron

Hi RonRon

You can make a direct extract of manhours from quantities using a simple percentage of Hours per Unit of measure.

It doesn't matter how accurate it is just so long as you use the same ratio for each report.

My motto is "Give then what they want" but not necessarily how they want it.
