Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is it possible to have different colors or shading based on an activtiy rule for the Pert view?

For example, all activities that are completed I would like the background to be yellow.

Thank you,

Vladimir,

P6 doesn't have this functionality but only the ones as I earlier posted.

Raymund,

some programmes like Spider Project can certainly do this and select activity colors basing on user defined rules.

But the question was about P6 and I am not sure that P6 has this functionality.

Mike,

It seems it can be possible because I as noticed, the Boxes of Completed Activities are marked with X (cross) while In Progress Activities are marked with \ (diagonal) and Not started are without X or \.

Hope some programmers can make some modifications in it then your requirement will be achieved.
