Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

P6 - calculate rem. units based on Activity % comp.

I need help to calculate remaining Units on resources in P6 based on the activity % complete. I want to physically update % comp and accordingly want to cacluate the reaource actual and remaining based on the physical % comp. Will I be able to do this?

If your duration type is either Fixed Duration & Units or Fixed Duration & Unit/Time and Percent Complete type is Duration % then updating % complete will automatically update Actual & Remaining duration (synchronise update). If you are using Physical % for Percent Complete type then everything is manual input.
