Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,
How do the various departments within the company handle the following Calendar issues in Primavera?
1.Projects department require a calendar of 8hrs per day 5 days per week for all FEED office work;
2.Operations require a calendar of 24 hrs per day 7 days per week for TA related work;
Do you set up a global calendar of 24/7 or 8/5?
Do you set the Global calendar to 24/7 or 8/5 and then tell the various departments to use a Project Calendar with the correct hours per day?
Any useful information in solving this issue will be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards.

If you are using the latest version, define all as global calendars and them use the option to summarize each project according to its own calendar.
