I have one acticity in my project. That activity having start to start relationship & finish to finish relationship. Its start date is project start date & finish date is project finish date. I want to distribute its cost uniformly without assigning resource curve.
How can i do that?
Can you please help me.

Actually the problem in my program solved now...
Before my cost of the acivity was lumpsum. Now I fixed a unit price for that acivity and apply in the program. Now the cost is distributing uniformly by default..

John,
Correct me if I’m wrong, I believed that your cost is distributed on different activity which may have overlapping as per logic but the equal distribution that your looking is the total summary or WBS level.
For this purpose I recommend to use the WBS summary task as a cost loading activity and it will have a uniform distribution based on your working calendar of course.
Another way is Level of effort activity having SS for first activity – FF to last activity and cost loaded.

Thanks Mr. Rodel...
But in my case for this activity, cost is not distributed uniformly by default. That is the problem i am facing. Its cost is distributed uniformly only after assigning resource curve. Actually the activity cost is lumpsum and its duration is coming 936 days..
can you please suggest any solution for this problem??

John,
When you assign resource the default is uniformly distribution so you don’t need to assign resource curve. Another option is by using the expenses instead. It has an option of uniform distribution or start and finish.
