Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

If i didn’t make a baseline in a schedule (eg. didn’t convert another schedule to be the baseline nor made a copy of the current schedule to be the baseline ), then P3 e/c assigns the current schedule to be the baseline, OK.

Then the target activities dates should be the same as of the updated dates of the ongoing activities, right ?

This isn’t right for the ongoing activities or completed activities, only works with te activities which didn’t start till the data date, CLAIRFY please!!

P3e uses the fields Planned Start and planned Finish as the basis of the baseline. This works fine for activities with no progress, but not so good for completed and especially in-progress activities.

Use Global Change to set Planned Start/planned Finish equal to Start/Finish.
