Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi ,

I tried exporting to excel resource loading table, but the problem is all that opens is a blank excel sheet. I am using P3.1

Can any one guide me through it.

Thanks,

This is the result of a security "upgrade" made by Microsoft that will install automatically if your Windows auto-update is configured to update office programs. To fix the problem, you need to change your registry settings. Go to the following link to download the Microsoft patch that will automatically fix your settings: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938810/en-us

to All

Recently when I exported my data into csv format in excel 2003/2007 the file was blocked and when openned it was completely empty. If you’re having the same case like mine, probably you might need to download a patch from microsoft that would unblock or restore blocking of a csv format file.

You can export as a DBF file. Then open the DBF in Excel.
