Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Good Day all

I am used to working in Primavera and having the luxury of exporting resource spreads into Excel with ease.

How do I do the same using MS Projects 2007.

I want to view the following:

Column A = Task Name or Resource Name of Phase Title etc

Column B = Total Manhours

Column C through to end = Start Month .......all the Way to Finish Month - How the hours are spread.

Please can someone assist me here, I want to avoid having to copy and paste the Resource usage screen from MSP into Excel, too many formats and adjustments to be made.

Please can someone asnwer as soon as possible, it is quite urgent.

Regards

Julian

Hi there Rakesh

In 2007, you do not have that function as you did in 2003.  You have to use Visual Reports or Export into Excel and use Pivot tables.

How does one get the report exactly in the View or Setup I stipulated?

Thanks

Kind Regards

Julian

Julian you can try it for MSP 2007 i had used it in MSP 2003

It is very simple

go to Tools>>Customize>> toolbars>> and select for "Analysis" toolbar

And use "Analyze Timescaled data in Excel"
