Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I used to run Primavera 3.1 under Windows 98 and Pentium 3. When I upgrade my computer to Windows XP service pack 2 (Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM) and run P3.1, I notice that the speed is slower than before, especially when hitting F9 for scheduling. Why is that so?

Hello,
Remember that P3.1 is a 16 bit native application and therefore is not taking advantage of XP 32 bit.

I also used 3.1 under 98 and 2000 and also noticed that in XP it runs slower.

I also noticed some speed up when installing service pack 3 for P3.1.
