Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

The problem is not all the time you will see the problem... not unless you use these softwares.

My problem here s that you guys do not know your arses from your elbows, and if you were half decent planners would have seen the problems ahead of time instead of trying to use software to detect it for you

Further to Gorden’s post, if you want to check what is included in each version upgrade or service pack release, information is available on Primavera KnowledgeBase.

Besides Claim Digger, another software name PrimaPlan Project Investigator can run the comparison.

Alternatively use something like Claim Digger which is a low-cost Primavera-supplied add-in (embedded in primavera 5) to compare two iteration of the same project, or any two-project combinations.

Ayman,

If you’re talking about upgrades, patches etc.. then you need to look in Help / About P3... any service packs will be detailed above the license agreement.

If you mean, are there any material changes to the Project itself, you need to create a baseline and either compare against Target1 columns or look up the Var. Columns.

HTH,

Gordon
