Dear all,

I need some guidelines for doing a ship impact protection system project programme. The major

activities includes construction of two berths and a fender system for the ship impact protection.

What are the major concerns while planning a programme for this work, berth construction  includes

piling works also.  Expecting your valuable view points,

   With Regards,

           Sunil.

Hi Sunil

Piling will probably be done from an ofshore barge.

If so then you have to consider:

State of the tide

Wave configuration

Weather - monsoon

Support and supply tenders

When piling is in progress the rest of the work can follow for the jetty deck and top beams.

After that you will have normal access.
