Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Ashutosh,

For sharing & discussion purposes, the following is not a flow chart on how to conduct commissioning works rather some sort of steps & tips.

1.Conduct pre-commissioning works (visual physical checking)
2.Conduct commissioning safety trainings & orientations (Log Out Tag Out is very important)
3.Conduct system and or indiviudal no load commissioning works;
4.Conduct system and or indiviudal load commissioning works

note:For generating a commissioning programme make sure that the P&ID’s are being considered.

regards,
arman

Hi,

For Facilities, usually the commissioning agent starts at the start of the Design stage. Their input is very important to the effective commissioning of the facility at the end of the construction.

In short, it depends on what you are building.

With kind regards,

Hi Nema

As samer rightly said your message require further more info of E&M systems used in your project .Moreover prior to commissioning you have stand alone and integrated testing which varies from system to system.

Please be noted that to start commissioning you have to acquire statutory authority approvals

Dear Ashutosh,

It depends on what you want to commission.

Basically, you want to have the "As built" and the "Quality Documents" ready and submit them before handing over so that the maintenance team can use them.

The standard 5 start building will have 17 electromechanical systems that need to be commissioned and confirmed as ok.

With kind regards,

Samer
