Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Some won't like it, but I tend to like all Activitiy Names or Desciptions in ALL UPPER CASE simply because it is easier to see.  Is there a way to change the case quickly to all upper case? or Vice Versa.  Just curious....

Managed to check & unfortunately this is not one of the string functions available in the global change, so would need to do it through excel.

Hello Steve,

Could you please help me sharing the coding or parameter setting for Global change of all Caps or vice versa in P6.

Jeff,
Easiest way I can think of is to export the tasks to excel, add a column at the end & use the =UPPER(A3) formula (where cell A3 is the first task description.
Copy this formula down for all rows, then re-select and copy this column, go to cell A3 then right click & paste values.
Re-select the calculated column then clear contents.
Re-import the excel version of the plan.
If you are working on a large schedule, make sure that you export the minimum amount of columns to speed up the export / import process.
You may be able to do this with a global change within Primavera, however not in front of my computer to test.
Hope this helps
Steven
