Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

Dear All,

I am using P6 to develop the baseline schedule. As per the client requirement, the time unit for resources is days instead of hours. After inputting all the resources and while trying to develop the Resource Profile view, the following issue came up;

When i try to divide the interval units with 30-in order to get the real manpower during a month-its not working in the Resource Profile view, but its working in the Resource spread sheet view.

For eg: an activity got 3 fitters daily -so 30x3=90 budgetted units P6 will show. but in real there will be 3 fitters only. so i put the value 30 in the division box of Resource Profile Option-Graph- but no changes its showing-still appearing 90 in the histogram. In the resource spreadsheet view 3 will appear.

Any changes to be done in the settings.

Thanks

Kannan

Hi Kannan,

JK Morris is right, this was already in p6 v7 service pack. Correct me if I am wrong, I guess this is what you need.

what version of P6 are you in?  i think this issue was corrected in one of the 7.0 service packs.
