Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello All,

We are about to roll out the new Planning Planet Production Rates database which contains all of your past comments and suggested metrics etc.

We are still unsure as how best to organise the rates. We have considered using the MasterFormat WBS categories but some of us find these categories alittle complicated and less than straight forward.

Here is what CSI have as categories...

Can we work together and suggest (via this thread) suitable WBS categories and sub-sections etc?

PP Admin.

Bernard,

You are absolutely right. It is easier for everyone if we wait until the initial product is available for discussion and comment. It will make offering constructive suggestions and comments easier and enable them to be more specific.

It might be easier for members to make positive suggestions after seeing the PP team’s initial efforts instead of starting from a blank slate.

Yes, that is how we have prepared them.

We have also provided sufficient space for us to show associated data such as gang-size and manhours etc etc

We are waiting to see how people think we should organise the database first though.

Ideas anyone?

Is this possible that standard production rates may be divided area wise such as for Asia, UK , USA etc for convenience of the members?
