Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is there a way to link one file to another file?

Hi everyone,

Was wondering if it is possible to link one programme to a seperate programme (two seperate files)

For example if I have a Pre-Construction programme on one file and I would like to link it to a seperate file which contains the Construction programme.

How would I go about doing this? or is this not possible?

Hi Yasine

Just copy paste the Pre Construction file onto the Construction Programme and turn them both into "Is A Project".

You can then link them at any level and display any views of the two files on one display.

in effect you can have any number of projects in the one file and you can then display the RAG dots for the whole company.

You can also resource level key resource elements across the whole work force on every project.

Best regards
