Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello Friends,

In Asta, I am actually looking for hiding the column option but still no success.

Mike and other experts users can tell me about that.

Thanks,

Hi Chris

The easiest way to hide a column is to click the top and hit "Delete" - the data is still there but not the column.

Vasilios comments about Views are spot on but you have to be aware of the "Lock View" option if you want to keep it as you left it - and you have to remeber to unlock the view if you want to change it.

Best regards

Hello

A quick way to 'hide' columns in asta can be done by selecting to 'remove column', the information stored in that column will not be lost and will appear once you 'add column' again.

Another way is by creating views for the programme, this way you can specify which columns are to be contained in a particular view and these can be saved. You will find there are already some default views such as 'progress view' etc, unless you are operating an older version.

Hope this helps Chris.

Cheers,

Vas
