Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi

I’m back on one of my favourite topics again - the Planned Percent Complete complete. I’d thought I’d got my head round how it works, but it appears not!

Currently, I show Percent Complete next to Planned Percent Complete. I enter progress into the Percent Complete column and expect the Planned Percent Complete column to show what I should have done on today’s date. Instead the Planned Percent Complete is working to my Progress Period. How do I set the column to work to today’s date instead?

Thanks, Laurie

Hi Laurie

The easiest way is to set up your main programme as a "baseline" using the baseline wizard under the "file heading".

When you set up the Planned Percent Complete column you can select the results to come from the baseline programme.

You may need to go back to your first unprogressed programme to set up the 1st baseline and ten import it into your progressed charts.

Best regards
