Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Gents,

We are looking for an option where we will be able to indicate an inactive period in an activity which is yet to start? For example :

Activity Start : 1-May-10
Activity Finish : 1-Sep-10
Data Date : 1-Apr-10
Inactive period required : 15-May-10 to 15-Jun-10

Can we get any help on this?

Jiso,
All you need is to assign calendar with inactive period as stated. The bar will still looked straight across from 1-May-10 to 1-Sep-10 but if you set the Bar Necking Settings to Calendar non working time then it will show inactive period.
