Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

We have recently recived a schedule from the contractor which was developed in P6 and when we imported it, all the budgeted units were multiplied by 8.

Could anybody advice me on how to fix this?

Thanks & regards

Dinesh

Hi Dinesh,

In addition to Anoon info.

According to you that all Budgeted Units were multiplied by 8. If you are using P6 it means that your setting in Edit --> User Preferences --> Time Units tab, "Unit of Time" is in "Hour" just change it to "Days".

Regards,

Arnold

that’s the difference between the planning unit used; it may be in Hours or in Days...

Hello,

You can simply correct the budgeted units by performing a global change. You must be able to filter on the activities needing the change. If interested, let me know & I can walk you through.
