Dear Friends,

We are preparing a schedule to be attached with our technical bid for Oil & Gas Tender.

The schedule is prepared in P6 with WBS Structure. We have weightages for all the activities which sums to 100%.

How to draw early and late dates curve in P6 using only weightage available for each activity?

Please don’t suggest on usage of resource allocation to each activity, as at tendering stage it is not done in our company. Please excuse.

Regards,
Bharath Kumar J

Dear Scarllet Pimpernel,

Thanks for your response. In P6 Under Tools>Reports, there are lot of reports, which one to be used to get the weightage spread or curve based on early & late dates.

Can you name the report? or just suggest how to create new report format.

Thanking you in advance,

Bharath

Dear Bharath,

Please try the old Primavera P3 way of doing planning and scheduling.

Since you have almost done the same exercise as P3, the next step is to prepare a resource tabular report. From the tabular report, you can now generate Early and Late Curve

I conjure it may get the result you want.

Thank you,
Scarlett

Dear Friends,

We have created a resource column named weightage and entered all the weightages against each activity.

The schedule is prepared on fixed WBS Structure.

Now, can anyhow tell how to draw the S Curve for early and late dates for WBS Level 2.

Regards,
Kumar

We have weightages separately and it is not yet entered in Primavera. I would like to know, how to use this weightages of each activity to draw early & late curves in Primavera.
