Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

I am working on a multi decades Project so my Timescale is quite extensive.
I need to represent my Resources Usage Profiles on yearly basis and I can’t get that on my P6.2...

I can only get at the maximum by Year/ Quarters. But I want my histograms by year only, how to get to that point ?

On a separate note, How to make a Resource Usage Report like I used to do on P3 on which I used to select My Resources/Costs, the Time distribution criteria such as "day", "week", "month", etc...and then export that as a CSV easy to draw S-Curves on Excel ?

Thanks guys.

I’m afraid that there is no chance to display on column a year. Even after the timescale was changed to "ordinal" the columns are displayed per quarter - same for the spreadsheet. I wasn’t able to check the ini file.

Any report you can export as csv-file. For the matrix with the time distributed data you’ll have to mark "Time distributed" in the second window of the wizzard.

One hint: As you seem to be an experienced P3 user, there is a PDF on your Primavera-dvd: "From P3 to P6". Study this manual before starting with P6.

Dieter
