Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi

I am wanting to set up a Planned Progress S Curve

How do I do this , I want to take the project and extract the Planned Progress Percentages of the Project from start to end , then I want to measure this as actuals during the Project Period

Who can advise what is the best method of doing this

The schedule % complete is calculated by (original duration - remaining duration)/original duration. For performance % complete is calculated by earn value / total value.

Hi John,

The Performance % Complete is used to compute earned value and may be based on the Activity % Complete, and also specifies what percentage of the activity’s planned worth has been earned so far.

The Schedule % Complete specifies how much of the activity’s baseline duration has been completed so far, and also indicates how much of the activity duration should be currently completed, relative to the baseline.

Regards,

Arnold
