Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

In P3, if the activity id is ingeniously developed, we can oraganize the project activiites WITHOUT the help of activity codes or WBS.

Is this feature possible in P6 ?

I concur with your statement. Why would anyone want to use intelligent activity codes that serve a dual purpose and do not take up any additional space on your display screen? Who needs elegance when we can have the brute force of SQL databases churning away on our queries?

Dear All

The reason we drop P3 is because it is limited with codes so that we have to use intelligent activity id.

We are no longer require to do such thing in the new system

Good Luck, for planner still try to build activity code within the activity ID

No, you cannot do this with P6. P6 does not support Activity ID codes.
