Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

dear planners,

is it possible in P3, to display 2 totaly differnt schedules on the same layout, if yes , how?
i know it s a strange question, but they asked me to do so, because we want to compare to different schedules
so, i want to know if there is any mean in P3 to do so, rather than print screen and using a photo editing software.... :-)

cheers

Thats a problem when your boss is a ****

To Solve this what you can do is, can insert say 10 milestones / hammocks in both the programs with same activity code and activity description considering the LOGIC.

With this you can compare those ten milestones by setting target for one project.

This seems to be a bit of a solution for your BOSS.

Cheers,

Ravi

Strange Request,

two different projects yuo could open them together in P5, what i would advice you to import p3 files into P5 and you could open them together, i dont know what exactly you or you boss/ PM wants you to compare, sometimes these requests are just for the sake of the request.....

let us know how it worked?

If they are different tasks, different codes then what exactly you are trying to compare ? As I understand you are trying to compare two different projects. But what do they have in common that is compelling you to put them in one lay out & compare them ?
