Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Deepak,

I’m not sure which layout you’re referring to. If you are looking for the save layout in P3, the answer is save layout in P3 are not imported to P3e or P5. Once you import a P3 file P3e or P5 use the current layout used before importing P3 program files but you can always organised and change the layout same as you have in P3.

Note: P3 always have a save layout for individual project (????LAY.P3) and P5 is an enterprise version which has only one database on all projects and the default layout is the current layout when you exit P5 program. The layout is always save globally and if you are using Activity Codes on the layout which is not present on the other project then the layout will result differently. You have to save different layout for each project unless you’re using global Activity Codes which have same structure on every project that you have on your PMDB database.

Regards,
Rodel
