Dear All,

Now I am using Excel 2007 on my new desktop.

But I could not open/use those excel RA Files (ACTIVITY.XLS and PROJECT.XLS) to export and import.

When I try to open those excel files this messege comes "could not load an object because it is not available in this machine" !!!

What should I do? Please help me !!!

Regards

Reinstall Excel 2003. you can retain both excel 2003 and 2007 on the same OS. Use 2003 for export-import and 2007 for the rest. I find MS Excel 2007 much superior to its predecessors. Alternatively, consider using Open Office (freeware) for dbf/wk1 formats.

open dbf in access copy to excel, than back to access and save as dbf.

Hi There,

Another problem is that excel 2007 is not allowing to save the files as wk1 or dbf. So that exporting/importing with excel 2007 seems impossible. Do have any idea for this?

Hi There,

Are you serious? I mean going back to excel 2003? If it is the only solution OK. But what is causing this. Have any idea?
