Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Hesham haridi,

Export to .DBF format only. Then you save to .xls and format the cells. .WKS is limited to around 2000 activities only.

Hello Hesham,
WKS supports only 2048 activities so u have to do the export import in two or more times or do it by selecting .dbf in export and import.

Are you exporting to .WKS or .DBF?

Always export to .DBF, .WKS does act funny with larger plans and I think has a restriction on total number of activities.

If you are exporting to manipulate the data and re-import, take care to check your data properly as some flavours of excel don’t handle .DBF files too well and will sometimes snip data (and I think perhaps the newest versions don’t support .DBF at all...?). Back up the "clean" plan before committing to the import aswell.
